We are very concerned about vehicles possibly hydro-planing on this stretch of the road right in front of our house. The water is not draining down the manhole and past efforts of putting more asphalt, while appreciated, have seemed to only make it worse. The manhole is to the right side of our driveway.

On a more superficial level, but worthy of mentioning....our lawn used to always grow beautifully just as the lawns on both sides of our house. We have spent a lot of money over the years buying sod....which hasn't worked because with the first big rain cars driving by literally flood the front lawn with water.

We are most concerned for the safety of our children due to the possibility of a vehicle(s) hydro planing onto our lawn, it is certainly a high traffic area. It's a decided safety issue.

Thanks for your efforts, hopefully we can fix this once and for all.

Sincerely,

Marcia Roberts
